Our unique whole child development programme for Toddlers and Pre- Grade R’s focuses on informal, fun learning through active play. Children can choose their preferred activities, but are also encouraged to participate in specific activities in order to develop pre-determined skills. Activities are age- appropriate and sensory-based and designed to meet the child’s physical, mental, emotional social and intellectual needs. It is aimed to develop the full potential of each learner in order to create a lifelong student who is confident and multi-skilled. Each child is monitored and assessed on a daily base and progress reports are issued three times a year.
We encourage children to learn through play.
Young children are learning and developing quickly. They are playing, learning and experimenting. They are also beginning to get a sense of their own identity. Children benefit from being at a nursery or playgroup at this age. Organised activities help develop their learning in an informal setting. In turn, this is preparing them for formal school.
